Of course any information we do show is optional.Picture submitted by Joost van Ulden from Kauai, Hawaii.
This spider was seen on the east coast of Kauai in Hawaii. It was in its web about 8 feet above a walking trail. While the picture is not the highest quality, it is obviously a type of orb weaver. Possibly an argiope? Let us know if you have any specific ideas.

Picture submitted by Robert Romero from Whittier, California.
This spider was found in a home in Whittier, California. Notice the number of legs and body segments, the front two legs are definitely legs and not antennae, so there is no confusion whether it is in an insect or spider.

Picture submitted by Bryan Ciaraldi from Fort Myers, Florida.
This is probably a huntsman spider from Florida. Looking for more specific identification if possible.

Picture submitted by Bruce Baever from Des Moines, Washington.
Probable Identification: Thomas Walton of Decatur, Georgia has provided a detailed identification description of this garden orb-weaver (Eriophora transmarina). This picture is awaiting proper archival once the orb-weavers identification guide is completed.

Picture submitted by Staff, Licensed Image.
Obviously an orb weaver, but can anyone provide more details on this spider? Marbled, furrow, barn, or some other kind?
